Part 1 of Oakland Police Officer Shooting 2009

This is the radio traffic from the two motor officers killed in Oakland, the second part of the recording where the other two officers were killed will be added as soon as possible. This recording was made possible by RadioReference.com.

Two Oakland Police Motor units attempted to stop a subject and he opened fire on the officers killing them both in the 7400 block of MacArthur Blvd. The subject apparently shot both officers while they were still near their motor bikes.

This part 1 of the situation and Part 2 will be placed on the site as soon as I can encode it, and get it ready to for downloads or streaming.

This is a great site. I am happy that someone has taken the time to put information like this on the internet. I also like the fact that I can listen to the scanner for the city of stockton and the county.

It was very sad what happened to those Oakland police officers--I commend them and I take my hat off to them for doing a job that is so dangerous and yet they still do it.

Thanks again for setting up and maintaining such a good site.

I put the scanner on the internet because I hope people will really enjoy and find it useful. It was very sad what happened to those officers, but we must commend those officers that go to work everyday not knowing if it will be their last day on this earth. Thanks for listening to my site and please tell everyone you know about it.
