I can get you all the freq's from San Joaquin County on paper for you if you wish--I have both the freq you asked for in my scanner but I do not play them because it would be to much to listen to I feel for the users. I feel what I'm playing now is the right mix and the right amount of stuff being scanned, but if I am wrong and there are more listners that want more ok, let me know, and I will make it happen.

Like the blackberry aPp but I thought I'd leave a suggestion and ask a question - Suggestion; add UOP pd @ 464.975 and SFD main @ 460.625 Question; is it possible to make an app such as this programable and/or ad a frequency display for the current channel being played - I have not yet purchased this app but I do intend to reguardless if these requests or suggestion can be made or not. Please feel free to email me with any questions - if the email is private you may also request my cell # as I'm a truck drver and can only run email when not driving.

Love the site! I live up in the foothills and enjoy listening to the nonsense that happens down in the valley. But, I have a question: are you able to get any Lodi Police radio traffic? If not, do you know of any online site that streams their scanner traffic? Let me know. I appreciate any help you can provide.

I purchased a new scanner and I should be able broadcast Lodi later and I will try for you.

I was very impressed that this site would be this informative. I want to thank the author for his hard work in providing reliable and accurate information. I'm glad we had someone finally took the initiative to make this page. The only thing now is I pray that the information is used for recreactional purposes. I know there will always be a few bad eggs that want to abuse the knowldge but thank God most of the criminals in Stockton are ignorant when it comes to electronic eaves dropping lol. Thanks again for this wonderful site!

I put the scanner on the internet because I hope people will really enjoy and find it useful. It was very sad what happened to those officers, but we must commend those officers that go to work everyday not knowing if it will be their last day on this earth. This is a great site. I am happy that someone has taken the time to put information like this on the internet. I also like the fact that I can listen to the scanner for the city of stockton and the county.

It was very sad what happened to those Oakland police officers--I commend them and I take my hat off to them for doing a job that is so dangerous and yet they still do it.

Thanks again for setting up and maintaining such a good site.

Stockton PD does NOT fight crime, they can't- there's just too much drama from all the wonderfull Oakland transplants.(Ain't diversity grand?) we can thank the good, progressive, lib-socialists in the bay area who talk a good game about how great diversity is WHILE THEY PUSH THE BLACKS into the valley. I heard it first hand from the mouth of a Mountain View city council member who stated that the unspoken plan for E.Palo Alto was to drive the blacks out through zoning and "neighborhood improvement" That's why we have the E.PAlo Alto crowd streaming into this area. It's a direct result of BAY AREA political manipulation using the high(relative)real estate values of the peninsula and east bay. It's obvious that the same plan is in effect in Oakland, though not as blatant as the Mountain View/ Palo alto situation where the PO-leese are DEFINITELY on board with the "exodus" plan for the "problem people".

Stockton PD REACTS to crime- they do not have the leadership, the manpower, (plenty of DYKE power though) the funding or the MORALE to be pro-active. Most officers in Stockton PD only work there long enough to get a better job in other cities- that's a fact, I don't know for sure what the turnover is but it's gotta be high.

Stockton should be nuked from orbit- it's the only way to be sure.

One question I have: When listening to the SPD radio traffic it seems like the dispatchers don't issue calls, rather they announce what they have and sort of wait for an officer to respond and volunteer for the call. Many times, it takes the dispatch several minutes with multiple transmissions asking for a unit to respond. Why doesnt dispatch have the authority to ASSIGN a 909 unit at will?

BTW there were AT LEAST 3 people shot on New Years Eve- no mention of that in the Record! Gee I wonder why the record is going outta business??

This is a great site and the information that you have provided makes the site even more useful,fun, and makes me want to comeback for more. It is is ure neat not having to pay for a scanner, but instead being able to listen to it online for free and in good quality.

I agree with you that shooting another human being should not be taken without cause. However, I cannot judge an officer for taking action and making the decision to use deadly force. I say this because I was not there, and I do not know what circumstances prompted the use of deadly force. I think that we should understand that human life should not be taken friviously, however we should not judge an officer when we do not know the circumstances.

If later on if there is more information that shows the Officer acted inapproriately then I would say we should say something, but until then we need to stand by the officer and let his department do their investigation into the matter.

Just a side note: the SGT did try to use non lethal means before shooting the subject, he can be heard clearly saying he used OC which is pepper spray, a police officer does not have to match force with force, if they feel their life is in danger they have the right to use whatever means in necessary to stop the threat.
